Welcome to the Fort Myers Florida vacation page. Vacations are taken by most people every year, some take vacations every six months and some take vacations three or four times a year. Most Americans take vacations inside the USA, however some take vacations in Europe and some take vacations in South America or vacation in Asia. Most people go on vacation to take a break from everyday life and vacations generally last for one to two weeks. Some vacations start at the airport, some vacations begin at a port or you can spend your entire vacation in your car. Vacation a long distance from your home can be a great change of scenery and people say a vacation is as good as a rest, or is it change, any we are talking about going on vacation so vacation it is! I like to take my vacation from Florida to canada as the scenery is so differant with mountains and snow in the winter. Florida is flat so my vacation from Florida takes me from one extreme to the other. My vacation begins at Tampa Airport then onto Houston Texas and finally by air to Calgary. Then its a three hour car ride to Golden and into the mountains where finally the vacation begins. A Vacation in the mountains during the winter period can be cold especially if you are from a warm climate like Florida. Having grown up in England its kind of in your head that when on vacation, one should be heading for a vacation in warmer climates. However, ski vacations always end too early and its back to Fort Myers Florida flat terrain. Boy I miss those mountains.
